SAP takes away the pressure and creates added value

The end of mainstream maintenance for SAP Business Suite 7, originally announced for the end of 2025, will be extended until the end of 2027. Optional extended maintenance will even be possible through the end of 2030.

The SAP customers can breathe a sigh of relief. On February 4, 2020, SAP SE announced an extended innovation commitment for SAP S/4HANA, and confirmed maintenance of the SAP Business Suite up until 2027. So what does this mean for customers?

The answer is simple: conversion to SAP S/4HANA is taking place all over the world and can now also occur until the end of 2027. Consequently, digital transformations can be planned and implemented individually. At the same time, maintenance of the S/4HANA applications is now assured for you through 2040.

In issuing this statement, SAP wants to provide its customers with long-term and future-oriented planning reliability, as well as more time for other important digitalization projects.
